Chicken, Mushroom & Cream Sauce

“All I ever wanted to do was to make food accessible to everyone; to show that you can make mistakes – I do all the time – but it doesn’t matter.” -Jamie Oliver

Simple, healthy lunch or dinner dish by me 🙂

Recipe (serving for 2):

  • 1 garlic clove (Mashed into a paste)
  • Mushrooms (Cut into thin slices)
  • 2 chicken breasts (Chopped into small pieces)
  • Parsley (Finely chopped)
  • Preferred vegetable (I use either asparagus, spinach or kale)
  • Salt, pepper & cajun spice
  • Cooking cream

Cooking method:

  1. Heat up a pan with your choice of cooking oil (I use sunflower oil)
  2. Put in mashed garlic
  3. After a minute, slide in the pieces of chicken and sprinkle some cajun spice
  4. Halfway through, add in the slices of mushrooms
  5. Once the chicken is cooked ¾ of the way, add in your vegetable
  6. Once all the ingredients are “evenly” cooked, add the cooking cream (depending on how much sauce you want BUT do not drown your ingredients)
  7. Add the finely chopped parsley, salt and pepper and stir
  8. Leave it to simmer and you’re done!

Bon appétit!
